Unique active ingredient
DIPONOX 2% SG is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) based on Cyromazine for the control of dipterous (fly) larvae. It is one of the groups of triazines and while its precise biochemical action is still unknown, recent data indicates that Cyromazine disrupts nucleic acid metabolism. This leads to retarded larval growth, interrupts the moulting process and prevents normal pupation. The larvae cannot form a proper new shell of skin (chitin) and as a result, they die during development.
Effective against all nuisance fly larvae
The house fly (Musca domestica), the lesser house fly (Fannia canicularis) and the stable fly (Stomoxys calcitrans) are just some of the most common species of nuisance fly around the farmyard whose larvae can be easily controlled by DIPONOX 2 SG. It is important, however, to remember that it does not kill adult flies. It is safe to beneficial insects in the recommended concentrations.
Fly Life Cycle:
The fly life cycle has six parts:
the egg, three larval stages, the pupa, and adult.
Adult house fly stage has only 15% of the house fly problem.
Cycles from the egg to Pupae is the 85% of the house fly
invisible problem which can be solved by Diponox 2 SG.
